CALLA
Calla is the iconic Vhernier collection: an essential and resolutely modern design sculpted around the body.
Calla is the iconic Vhernier collection: an essential and resolutely modern design sculpted around the body.
Designed in 1998 and initially conceived as a necklace, its lines are inspired by the conical shape of the lily flower, stylised to the core to repeat itself in a hypnotic echo. A pure abstraction containing the DNA of the Maison whose origin is rooted in sculpture.
Across the years the Calla signature conical elements have been slightly curved to smoothly envelop the wrists. The bracelets come in regular size and have adopted a more essential volume in the Midi iteration. The hidden opening add an air of mystery.
The Calla design has been sculpted in form of earrings. Their pure shape expresses a vision of jewellery that is resolutely modern, design centred and conceived around the body.
Highly emblematic of Vhernier’s approach to jewellery, Calla proves contemporaneity can be timeless. Designed as a soft embrace, enhancing the presence of the wearer, to avoid breaking the sequence of links, the necklace has a seamless integrated clasp, that is located inside one of the links.
The Calla iconic design has been slightly curved to shape rings. The elements are sculpted in the Maison's signature rose gold, gold and diamonds, and in the more innovative titanium, which demonstrate Vhernier's equal mastery in crafting traditional materials and less conventional metals.
With its extensive collection, the Calla design stands as a testament to the aesthetic vision of the Maison and its enduring commitment to experimentation and design evolution.
