Vhernier's creative reasoning always starts with the shape; this is also the case with one-off creations, where the gemstone is not cut to fit the shape of the jewel. Here, beautiful gemstones are used only and exclusively if they fit into the design.
And these magnificent gems are thoughtfully integrated into Vhernier’s metal-centric designs, enhancing them, making them more unique and bringing even greater value to the jewellery.
Sometimes the shape are inspired to existing collections. Such as the ring crafted in titanium where a10.16ct, D, marquise cut diamond is paired with a stunning black jade, whose design is inspired by the Eclisse collection.
In other cases, the Maison’s designs are interpreted using unique gemstones. For example, the Velvet necklace, crafted in titanium with a 25.67ct cushion cut tanzanite and 2,445 diamonds totalling 14.93ct.
